Selection of Flameproof Glands

For the purposes of this course we will follow the selection table as stated in the National Annex in BS EN 60079-14:2014. However, with the introduction of IEC 60079- 14:2013, the selection process states:

“Cables less than 3 metres in length shall have a barrier fitted”
